Questions about stablecoin-first payments, answered plainly.
Explore how PayGap works, which currencies and assets are supported, and how to get help.
01What is PayGap?+
PayGap is being designed as a stablecoin-first cross-border payments platform. It uses supported stablecoins as settlement infrastructure between eligible fiat funding and payout routes.
02Is PayGap a remittance company?+
PayGap is positioned as a stablecoin-first payments platform rather than a traditional remittance storefront. Depending on the route, regulated third parties may provide fiat collection, custody, conversion or payout services. The legal provider and its role must be disclosed before confirmation.
03Which funding currencies are live?+
GBP, EUR, AED, USD, CAD and AUD are live funding currencies. Available methods and recipient routes depend on your location and account eligibility.
04Which stablecoins are supported?+
PayGap supports USDC, USDe, USDT, USDP and FDUSD. The available asset and network depend on the provider and route. USDe is a synthetic dollar with a different risk model from reserve-backed stablecoins.
05Can I trade stablecoins or earn yield?+
No trading, yield or investment experience is presented here. The stablecoin layer is intended for payment settlement, subject to the final product and regulatory perimeter.
06Does PayGap publish a rate calculator?+
No. For an eligible live payment, the confirmation screen should show the applicable conversion rate or spread, PayGap fee, estimated network fee, partner charges, recipient amount and quote expiry.
07Are stablecoins the same as cash?+
No. Stablecoins are cryptoassets designed to track a reference asset. They can lose their target value and carry issuer, reserve, custody, liquidity, network, smart-contract and cyber risks.
08Will every payment be instant?+
No delivery time is guaranteed. Verification, banking hours, network conditions, compliance review, liquidity and payout-partner operations can all affect timing.
09How will complaints be handled?+
The live service should provide an in-app support route, written complaint acknowledgement, investigation updates, an outcome and an escalation path appropriate to the responsible legal entity.
